MNDC Mary Crane Scholarship for BIPOC, LGBTQIA2S+, Low-income, or Disabled End of Life Doula Candidates for 2024

The MN Death Collaborative (MNDC) believes in doing what it can to make our society more equitable. Recognizing that there are segments of society in need of end-of-life services - including end-of-life doulas - we also recognize that there are few trained BIPOC, LGBTQIA2S+, Low-Income, or Disabled End-of-Life Doulas. Thanks to a generous donation from the Crane Family and Friends, The Mary Crane Scholarship for Doula Candidates provides End-Of-Life doula training for those who identify as BIPOC, LGBTQIA2S+, Low-Income, or Disabled, and is one of the ways the MNDC is working to help create a more equitable society.

Applications are being accepted for:
One (1) Scholarship toward any MNDC-approved EOL Doula Training Program up to $800 USD. Successful Candidate would be responsible for the difference due to the program of your choice.

If you are awarded an EOL Doula Training Program Scholarship, you will be notified and a representative of the MNDC will work-out payment of the Scholarship with the program you select.

NOTE: Payment would not be made directly to you, and if you decide not to attend training with your program of choice, MNDC will expect monies to be returned to the MNDC’s Mary Crane Scholarship Fund.
